SKunk 2 exhaust

skunk 2 is releasing a mega power exhaust system for eclipse gst/talon tsi cars and i was wondering how you guys feel about skunk 2 products

I'm a fan on Skunk2 products, haven't heard anything really bad about them. A lot of my friends have Skunk2 stuff on their Hondas and they seem to like it.

As long as it's mandrel bent and 3inch I don't see how it's differs from any other exhaust except by sound and price.

Skunk 2 is crap. It's all made in Taiwan (trust me here) and is produced with very low quality tolerances. The factories where their crap is made is also sold to other companies which I will not name under other brands and is also sold in other countries like korea etc as cheap aftermarket equipment. Thier stuff is crap, do yourself a favour and buy WEB or Crower if you want valve train, JG Edelbrock if you want an intake manifold, Ground Control if you want coilovers or pretty well any other company for exhaust.

We have used skunk stuff on guys cars and have had nothing but poor results with then. After trying with some of their products we basically will not sell it. If guys really bother and want it we send them elsewhere as we would rather not make any money on skunk2 than sell it and deal with the problems of broken valve springs, poor fitting intake manifolds, crappy ride of their springs or poor performance from their products.

Basically Skunk2 = ass.

I notice pretty much everyone mentioning Crower or Web when talking about cams... now this may be a stupid question but i don't care cause i haven't looked into buying cams cause i won't need aftermarket ones anytime soon. But why is it no one mentions HKS? I used to be under the impression that they made good products, but i don't know obviously. Anyone care to enlighten me?

msot people say that HKS makes the best cams, but they are also the most expensive...

sorry forgot about HKS they are very good cams and have been used successfully on many DSM cars. Just forgot to mention them during my rant

2GturboTALON - Those skirts are 1 off made for my car, their not a production item.
