I am in the process of upgrading my 2g AWD fuel system. I want to run 6AN lines from the tank to the filter and from the filter to the rail. I know I need (3) female 6AN fittings one for the tank, filter inlet, and filter outlet. I am using the Mr Gasket 6AN Billet fuel filter. I also need a 6AN fuel rail inlet fitting. My question is what length of 6AN SS line do I need from the tank to the filter and from the filter to the rail>?

Thanks,
-Brian

10FT:thumb:

4 6AN fittings of your choice

1 6AN fuel rail fitting.

you will also need 6AN Male to 14mm x1.5 Female Saginaw Adapter to connect from your fuel pump assy to ## 6AN line

well when i bought the kit that went from tank to filter from slowboy racing, it was 15 feet long. i only did up to the filter and i used about 12 ft.. and to do the fuel rail don't you need a special adaptor?

10ft! no way you need a 6.5' length to the filter and 1.5' length to the fuel rail, that is presuming your putting the fuel filter near the stock location

there is no way u can do it w/ 6.5 FT if you are going from the top of the fuel assembly to the front.....

misinformation :nono:

The one from stevetek is geared around the 1g, some stuff is the same but I was looking specifically for the 2g.

I think I have a list of all the stuff I need.

Acutally you will only need 10ft total to do the whole thing....from pump assy to filter from filter to fuel rail.

Also i personally use two 45* 6AN's for the filter oulet and fuel rail inlet.....90* seems like overkill unless u are planning on mounting it way up high almost level w/ the fuel rail.

You are correct. That is why I just used it as a giude line. However, it does contain alot of usefull information. But, one of the things I did different was instead of threading my fuel rail I just got some bolt on fittings from slowboy. Let us know how this turns out for you.

That should be enough. Just make sure you do a good job on routing your lines. I ran mine by the transfer car to the passenger side. I make sure the lines were tight against the frame and that they would not touch any moving parts or heat sources.

Updated list, so I only need 10ft total to go from the pump to the filter and from the filter to the rail?

yes:thumb: i just did the 6an update yesterday w/ summit hardware. i routed the hose following the fuel lines and ziptied it directly to the old fuel supply line. I still had a foot or lil longer left after routing the hose from the pump assy to my filter and from the filter to the fuel rail.
