Leak in SS line fixable?

After finding all the right parts to get this thing to fit, there is a leak in the return line where the arrow is pointing, between the red part and the blue part.

Kinda sucks to start the car up and have gas spray everywhere.....

If it's a leak in the fitting, you can replace the fitting. The title makes it sound as though there's a leak in the actual hose itself.

You have to open a new window and paste that address. The leak is right after the SS hose there is a red part and then a blue double ended part. The leak is between these 2 parts....

First pull the fitting off of the regulator and undo the fitting from the hose. Check to see if it is stripped or warped.

Next make sure you have the red fitting fully seated onto the end of the hose without any gap between the hose and lip. Now, one thing you may try to do is put teflon tape around the top of the threads on the blue piece that goes into the red piece. Make sure you thread the fitting in so there is no more than 1/16" gap. Then apply some teflon tape to the fpr fitting and check for leaks.

If leaks do persist replace the fitting on the hose. I hope this will help.

ok, turns out the palce i took it to to get a -6an to fuel line fitting installed the plug reverse so the line never made a full connection..... just my luck

Glad you found your problem, I was going to say it is more then likely an assembly error. If not done correctly the hose can pull to far out & will leak. You shouldn't use teflon tape on AN fittings, they aren't designed to be sealed with the threads.
