(2) Questions regarding a 6 bolt swap on a 2g

1. Can you use a 6bolt non-cruise control cable on a 2g? Does it bolt up/connect the same way to the firewall and gas pedal? I have a 2gnt cruise control cable but its way to long, I know you are supposed to wrap it around but there must be a better way.. I heard the 4g64 non-cruise cable(MB948632) is shorter. Which would make sense because the throttle body is setup on the same side of the car as the 1g and 2g turbo. Which one do you guys use?

2. Which lower radiator hose do you use a 1g or 2g? so the hose doesn't hit the 2g shifter? I heard of people grinding off the shifter part that hits but I also heard of people using a radiator hose that doesn't hit the shifter.

Also I think we should create a tech article on a 6bolt swap with all questions like these, I think it would be very helpful for everyone.

Thanks,
-Brian
