Yeah i dont feel like payin 500+ on a new cat back. This guy has a 92 laser and he is parting with his N1 exhaust for next to nothing pricewise... problem for me is i am fwd... he is not. I know the piping has to snake around different stuff on each car (trans, transfer case... rear/ rear axles..whatever the case is) (awd and awd) and i know that they are different part #"s and what not... but can/will it work on a fwd without hitting anything on the undercarridge with little or no fabrication??

yeah thats what i was shootin for but u will always get someone who knows all and simply says it wont work... i wonder if he even knows why himself.... reguardless i am buying the cat back and sell/trading it for a fwd one. so this makes no difference... feel free to go into more depth with an answer. I am a service technician and not a car illiterate schmuck...

Thanks again
Dante

Anything can/will work with a welder and an imagniation but why don't you just wait a little longer and find a FWD version used. There reason you don't get an indepth answer is becasue noone has done it and they wouldn't need to when they sell a FWD version.

exactly. Thank you for a straight foward respectful answer. I just thought i would ask. But if u read my entry it was origionally because i got an awd n1 cat back for 50.00. alot better than 500 or even 250 for a used one. no waiting and no fwd.... i can simply sell this awd one now and then get the fwd. Just thought i would ask.

also i see you are a turbo impressa enthusiast, I am a subaru technician (wilkie buick chevy subaru phila pa) and can get STI / WRX / other rally stuff if interested

nah... ImpreSSa
WRX SS
Turbo impreza

legacy outback
impreza outback
h6 3.0
