What kind of gains can I expect with a Ported Exhaust Manifold, and a 1G Throttle Body?

1GTB=nothing unless you either port the 2G mani to 60mm or get a 1G intake manifold also and port your head to match the 1G's bigger runners.

since my car underwent the swap..... i have my old 2g exhaust man. that i kept so that i could get it ported..... does anyone have any before and after shots of the porting that needs to be done to it?

I have heard different theories on porting the 2g manifold. Some say to leave the runners alone and only port turbo side. Anyway have anything to say about this?

On the 1g heads at least,the runner in the manifold and the ports in the head are the same size. No real advantage there. There is a lot of improvement in the collector area though,removing the lip for the fire ring and radiusing the short side area of the runners as they turn into the collector area opens up a lot of flow.
