A friend of mine that works at a local speed shop said that if I were to get that turbo I would need internal mods cause it would blow my engine. Is that true or am I getting yanked.

you can run 16psi with stock internals im sure u could even get away with 19-20 with 100+ octane.

If there are people out there using TDO6 20G's on stock internals
you are sure able to use the BigT-28 Killer on stock internals.

I agree...sounds like this character has been hitting the crack pipe a lil to often. I wouldn't be concerned with interal mods that early on. unless you plan implementing a big ass turbo with NOS...then you really have nothing to worry about. before building your bottom end you would probably do some head work first.

I totally agree. 400hp on the bottom end no problem. Just gotta watch the rear if you have a 90 or 91.

It's a known fact that a "WELL TUNED" stock internal 4g63 2g 7 bolt motor can support 400whp. That's about 450hp at the crank.
