Engine swap

I have a 95 gsx and due to a couple of engine problems that are not really worth the time and money to try and fix, I was looking to just swap out the motor. Ive been looking into the jdm engines for a while and from what ive seen there really isnt much of a difference from the jdm 6bolts as compared to the usdm 6 bolts. The only one that i was able to find that seems some what worth doing is the 6bolt off of the gvr4 that supposively comes with a 16g turbo and 510cc yellow top injectors. Anyway, I found a shop that will supply this motor and install it in the car for $2500.

My question is would it be worth going this way or try to find a rebuilt usdm 6bolt instead?

that actually sonds like a decent deal. You know if you do it yourself it will be much much cheaper. Typically they go for around 11-1300$ for a JDM longblock. SO the install is up there for what they are asking. If they do good work and you trust that they will have eveything done with quality, then Id say go for it. I have done 2 swaps on my talon and am going to be doing another next weekend, it really is pretty simple. But I do understand some people dont have the time, tools and knwoledge to do it. Well they were actually charging $1000 to do the swap and the rest was for the engine and the extra parts that they needed to complete the 2g-1g swap. The shop actually specializes in dsm's only and as for the quality they are a pretty good shop. A couple of people have been telling me to just look around for a usdm rebuilt 6 bolt instead of the jdm 6bolt because of the probability of the engines being beat on and damaged. As for the jdm gvr4 6bolt, is there any other difference from the jdm to usdm other then the jdm comes with a big 16g turbo and the 510cc injectors?
