Chilliwack,
well, I see that alot of people take out the lower honeycomb on thier 1g maf sensors. I also notice that people turn out the adjusting screw as well. Both these mods would make the car run leaner as it will allow more air into the engine that the system has not counted. In high boost turbo engines, we need more fuel do we not? This is where I am confused. Why do we want to lean out our already fuel starved engines??

If someone could please explain this to me I would apreciate it. What effects would this have on a stock system? A mild modded one(pipes, exaust, 15psi, stock injectors etc)? and on a fancy one with an after market computer, big turbo etc...

thanx,

John

i was under the impression that we run a little rich stock, and is therefor obviously ok to pull in a little more air/lean out a little...
