3k sound about right to me too(with your current mods)...i've got about 1k miles on my 6bolt so i have recently raised my boost to about 10psi...with a ported exhaust manny and the exhaust housing on my 14b ported out to 7cm, i see full boost at about 2600rpms...i put the factory exhaust back on the car when i did the swap to cut down on CEL's, so i'm hoping it'll spool even quicker with the full 3" and o2 eliminator on there...

ok, for some reason mine seems to be lagging more than usual... i dont see full boost 9psi untill 4k rpm...

right now i still have the stock bcs, which is why i'm guessing full boost is 9-10psi... but would that hurt spool time aswell?

looks like i'm going to have to leak test the system..... any other suggestions?
thanx

edit: mods include: jdm 6bolt, injen intake, buschur upper ic pipe, 1g cbv, free mods, magnecores, boostgauge, gutted cat, and that's all i can think of right now

Check for boost leaks.

Also, you might want to check into a MBC. 15psi on that 14B would kick a$$! *But remember to get a bigger fuel pump before bumping up the boost, or at least rewire it first*
