I ordered a bunch of pieces of pipe from RRE and welded it together myself, however, the hangers ended up sucking (along w/ my welding skills) and were so brittle they broke off when trying to mount the exhaust...As a (hopefully) temporary solution, I went to Home Depot and bought stainless steel braided wire, ran that around the exhaust and through the rubber hangers, and bolted a lock in place in the wire. This is ghetto fabulous at best, and the exhaust is hanging kind of low. Does anyone have any other ideas (bolt-on ideas would be best) about how I can mount the exhaust better? I know Magnaflow made an adjustable band clamp exhaust hanger, but I went to buy it and it has since been discontinued. Any ideas would be welcome and much appreciated.

What material are those hangers/exhaust made out of? And what kind of welder are you using?

Here's one way to do it:

Or try some of these slip on hangers:

I'm using a stick welder with RRE hangers (http://roadraceengineering.com/parts/tweekerparts/hangars.jpg).

That DMAX hanger clamp (first image) looks like a great solution. Do you know where I could pick that part up?

For the slip on hangers installation (2nd image), would I just slip those over the pipe and then slide a bolt through the strap and the rubber hanger?
