Just wanted to get any input you guys had on the APEXi N1 3" cat-back and their downpipe as well. I really like how the N1 exits the back of the car and the fact that it takes the last flow-robbing bend out of the exhaust system.

Thanks for your opinions!

it is 2.5 right before the bend of the downpipe, then it is 3 all the way back. I have that same system on my car. It performs very good and sounds great. The only problem i have with it is that it hits on the bottom of my car where the cat was. It hits the hanger bracket right above it. I'm trying to figure out right now how to get rid of the problem.

I'm happy with my N1 Exhaust and GT DP...I think they are awesome and makes a nice sound...gotta love setting of car alarms. installation was a easy. except for that f'n O2 Sensor behind the stock CAT.

drewstealth94 is correct its 2.5 from O2 housing to the bend then a full 3" inch all the way back. :) good luck and hope that helps

that must be a misprint...check the apex website and look under applications....

unless they recently came out with a GT spec Catback for DSMs then...my bad..

Thanks for all the input guys, keep the opinions, comments, and experiences coming!

I am a happy N1 customer. Best exhaust I have bought so far. 3rd exhaust is 1.5 years! :)

Thanks again, just purchase the N1 downpipe and cat-back system. Can't wait to get it on the car, picked up a 2nd gen. MAF sensor, dejon tool 3in. intake, and 2nd gen. K&N FIPK. Hope to get into the 12's in the spring with the aid of 20psi and 100 octane. I'll settle for low to flat 13's until the next stage.

the n1 muffler closes in to 2.75 internally, there have been many posts discussing this.

I don't know about that. I have the RRE 3'' downpipe and it is the exact same diameter as my N1. I'm not saying your wrong just going off the facts that I know.

Oh yeah, I love it and wouldn't trade it for any other exaust out there!

I found they do offer the GT downpipe for the 2nd gens. only. Check out the parts finder on this site and choose exhaust systems for 1st gens. Then go the the Apex N1 cat back and look at DSMotor Sport's website. They offer the GT for the 2g. I called on this and the guy said they have them. This should clear things up for you guys.

I love the my N1 catback, and Buschur DP, everyone tells me that they can hear me a good half mile away, so they always know when i am comin.

Apex'i does make a GT spec. catback exhaust for 95-99 gst and gsx. I bought my GT spec. downpipe and catback from horsepowerfreaks.com. I just installed it on my car, and I gotta tell you, this in an awasome system. Lots of power and very nice sound. I would defenitely recommend it.

don't have it..............heard it....................i want it:D
