Is there any difference between an injen CAI or a aem CAI (not v2). Which would I be better off getting?

Just go with an ebay short ram intake. It's just a hunk of metal. If you don't like the filter that comes with most of them, then just get a K&N.

The term "CAI" is overused by the majority. Not too many people actually run one on a turbo DSM.

I think for the price even on an NA it's not worth it. Espically when you can get an ebay CAI like stated above for MUCH less. Or just make one! It's just a peice of pipe bent to fit.

The ebay version I bought for my old gs wasnt very good. Had like 3 extra nipples that had to be capped off. The hoses included were garbage, but the filter wasnt bad. I paid the extra money and got the AEM V.1 and was very happy with it.

Every ebay piece I've seen is nearly a direct duplicate of the injen piece.

Even is it is for a 420A, I still recommend ebay.

Know who you are buying your stuff from on e-bay. Ive never had a problem with any of my parts or merch off the site.

The only problem with e-bay (non AEM, injen etc...) The welds are not as good. I mounted it to my stock airbox and within a week or so the welds holding the mounting brakets on busted, and I had to tie it to the battery so it wouldnt move around. That is the only thing wrong - so I guess I blew the welds on my intake ROFL
