option 1: Lo-Hi Dual Controller
Switch between stock boost and your set boost (for other drivers or low traction conditions)
Mount the toggle switch in the driver's compartment to activate a solenoid in the engine bay which switches between the two boost pressures. Price 89.95

option 2: Med-Hi Dual Controller
Set two boost levels and switch between them.
Mount the toggle switch in the passenger compartment to activate a solenoid in the engine bay which switches between two MBC1's you set
price 129.95

this two mbc are from dejontool.com

i'm confused on which one to get.

well think about it this way. Lets say u ever plan on running ohh like 17psi... You'd go from 12-13 psi to about 17 psi with the first MBC.

If you spend more money and go with the 2nd MBC you'll go from lets say a set of 13-14 psi anyway to the 17 psi.

So basically a dual stage MBC is good for launching at low psi so u dont spin forever... so you'll be launching at the same psi with both MBCs.

that explanation was a little confusing for me... but this is how i see it. The first controller just lets you choose between running stock boost and a boost level you set. Whereas the second controller lets you set both boost levels.

so with option #1 I can leave the psi at stock which is around 11-12psi right? and I would be able to use the switch to go from 15 psi back to stock psi right?

My EBC has 4 programmable boost settings. How many of them do I use? you guessed it only 1. I don't understand the need for 2 boost settings unless you are FWD I want to have a low setting. I'm not sure who even uses 2 settings on a FWD.

The difference between two controllers you describe is that sencond one has two linked MBCs with solenoid switch-over, and the frist one has 1 MBC and a bypas valve, which, when engaged, relies on Waste Gate Actuator Setting to limit the boost. I don't see much use in either.

Simple manual (electronic if you're filthy rich:D) controller works wonderful.Let's face it, when you launch, you'd have other things to concentrate on then to switch boost levels, besides, if you go for bigger turbo, then turbolag will prevent you from spinning tires like crazy...

If you're getting it to switch between you and another driver, then again, I don't know if it's worth it.....
