I'm thinking of switching my setup from the rnr o2 housing to the evo 3 o2 housing and putting my external w/g on my sbr Manifold. Right now, my downpipe and o2 looks like they don't quite fit properly over each other. will getting the evo 3 help me out? thanks

I have a evo3 o2 housing and it fits just fine with my apexi n1 downpipe.

ahh but you're a FWD. i've heard that on the AWD the flex pipe or a piece of the pipe will rub/rest on the t-case

I had a 92 awd with evo 02 and apexi n1 downpipe. It twisted a bit or whatever but it did work out fine.No problems and had it on over a year.

the evo o2 outputs at a different angle than the 1g or 2g. it will fit with a little bit of force.

I had an evo 3 o2 housing with n1 downpipe on my 92 talon. It seemed to work just fine.
No adapters or anything. Maybe would have wrecked the flex pipe long term though not sure only had it like that for maybe a year.
