ok what do you have to do with the o2 housind to run an external off the manifol? do you have to get and o2 eliminator kit?

You need to get something like this. Or you can get the housing welded up for a permanant mod.

I am using a 3" o2 housing that WAS used in EXT dump mode, i am cutting the dump tube off, and welding a plate over it.

Are you using a INT gated turbo,
or going for an all out EXT gate turbocharger.

Int gated turbos most of the time the owner just welds the flapper shut.

if you are going to purchase a turbo setup for ext gate, you really shouldnt have to do anything with the 02 housing. because there is No hole, unless the turbo is setup for Off the o2 housing Ext gate.

the turbo I am using, the rs49t, Is setup for Off the 02 housing ext gate. But i am going with a Manifold mount.
Just welding over the hole on the housing is more than adequate.
