When I was tearing down my motor, I found some metal pieces behind the front case, and im thinking its part of the front case. I already know the front balance shaft, front bearing is bad. Let me know what you guys think.

Ya know man, to be on the safe side, I'd pick up a new one. I rebuilt my engine and when i started it, I had a nasty oil leak. Well, after an o-ring, an oil pan gasket, and a front case gasket, I'm finally just opting to buy a new front case. Had a gouge in the back from a previous rebuild (former owner) and I didn't think much of it.

New OEM is 280. Picked mine up from Pina Motorsports with stubby shaft, both gaskets you need and shipped for a lil over 300.
