to those who have ported a turbo

question is this
i know the 14b has some room to grow, being that i know some of oyu have ported the turbo's on your cars, or others

i know you have ported the exhaust housing to 7 cm.
did any of you port the compressor housing any?


or just a general question, what all have you ported?

just turbine housing to port match the 7cm that the 2g manifold is for. I dont really think people do it (my guess), becasue most turbo's comp inlets are already big enough for the actual wheel to where there isnt really any choking at all. Thats my guess...

Porting the compressor outlet's not a bad idea; certainly the 14b and 16g outlets are a bit wimpy, and if you're using the Dejon oversize outlet pipe on a 1G you definitely want to port to match it.

if you port the turbine inlet to a 7cm its a start, but that doesnt make it a true 7cm housing, thats a bit different. port that out, the matching face on your manifold, the wastegate hole as shown in the www.vfaq.com and the compressor outlet to match your upgraded pipe, i was very happy when i was finished.
