EVO 3 Manifold owners: I need help

ok can someone go out to their car and take a measurement for me....i need to know how thick the flange is that bolts the manifold onto the head. thanks sooooo much. I need to know how much thicker it is than a stock 2g manifold flange or if its anythicker at all. also the back of the flange to the the closest turbo bolt hole would also be great

Why do you need to know if its thicker or not? I found this on the dsmlink forums "EVO3 exhaust manifold flange thickness is 9/16".

if its the same size then i was going to mount it using my stock 2g manifond to see where i was going to have to dent the waterpipe. and now i got the answer thanks

For what turbo? If you don't want to dent the waterpipe you can always get the .5 spacer that Hahn racing sells.

The .5 spacer is a good idea, but an expensive one. Not only do you have to buy the spacer, but you have to buy longer head studs. To top it all off, now you need 2 exhaust manifold gaskets instead of one.

I didn't have to dent my water pipe at all and i have a evo3 mani with the same turbo. Heres some pics for you.
