factory turbo gone......don't know which way to go.

I just bought a 1990 Eagle Talon. I got it at a deal and knew the turbo was bad. This will be a limited driver mostly short trips of 30 miles or so to and from the drag strip and I am planning for all the popular uprades. I need help choosing a good turbo and what steps i need to take to run mid 7's in the 1/8. Any help would be appreciated.

20g or bigger is your only hope. but you need supporting mods but then again i know a friend that went 12.6 @ 111 mph with a 20g, 3" home made turbo exhaust, homemade cold air intake, boost controller, fuel pump, race gas, and a homemade fmic (2 stock smic welded together and mounted in the front bumper with zip ties).
