RPM Pinout (2G)

I just recently installed a AVCR on a 2G, I tapped into the #58pinout on the ECU per the instructions on the AVCR, but when I start it up...the rpm count stays at 0, and the scramble boost feature is ON....when it's not even hooked up to a momentary switch...am I missing something here? Anyone know the color of the RPM wire....or Hell....even the direct wire that goes from the distributor to the ECU?

Well, I have both actually. Ive used that as a guide when I spliced the wires.....but it's still kinda funky with the RPM/SCSW...maybe it's just a bad unit?
