Wow, another thread goes down the tubes. When comments like yours are posted, your threads are not closed.... but when we get a dialogue going, the thread gets closed. So, I will start another one.

This thread is not about starting a vendor war.

What makes you think that comment was pointed at you?

I am not concerned about who this comment was pointed at, but the fact that someone could actually say it in a public forum...... Every now and again, just think about what you are going to say, before you write it. I have nothing but good things to say about AGP when a customer calls me to ask about the both of us. You keep telling them the bad things about me though, and I will keep selling them turbos

I think we need a DSM Vendors/Turbo manufacturers annual paintball match or boxing match , armwrestling match or something

I was waiting for you Wade. I like the boxing match idea Not that I am violent or anything..... but I cannot shoot a paintball gun to save my life.

I think the more I am on the "tuners" list, the more I realize how hard of a job the moderators really have.. However, closing a thread like the one you just closed, is not right.

For instance, Vendors are not allowed starting a thread showing their new product, even ones that pay for advertising. Chris, I emailed you about this a few months ago.... and I respected your decision.

Vendors are also not suppose to say things like.....

We are going to keep some aspects of this turbo under wraps cause there's some jackazz coping everything we do.

But they did, with no recourse from your moderator team.

If you are going to loosen the rules for one, then do for all. Level the playing field for us.

In closing, please do not make this thread a war, I would like to see a good open talk about some of my points here. I would sure like the moderators opinions also.....

Well Mike I've always thought that a Vendors Review\Product launch thread section would be helpful. To us vendors as well as the moderators. You see I think of all vendor reviews as sorta kinda biased .
(Thats why I never posted one myself) I just think of when I was not working where I'm working & seeing vendor posts on how great THEIR product is & I always repeated to my self my coin fraise that I go by
"Believe only half of what you see & none of what you here" Then I would dismiss it . So I have never thought it appropriate as a vendor to launch a product review with or along side a customer product review.

But that being said there really (in my opinion) is no proper place for what we are talking about . Thats why I think a Vendors Review\Product Launch thread section would be appropriate. There has got to be regulatory rules as far as who is as vendor & who is not . We don't want
Jocko on there trying to push his southern engineered home depot fuel pressure regulator as gospel do we ? Lets see what them good ole' Moderators & Site Administrators think .

Vendors fighting between each other saying "you copied" blah blah, gives BOTH places a bad image.

think about this, procharger Vs vortech.
vortech saying procharger/ati copied a design. sued, no money was exchanged in this suit. why?? because in this industry you can change one little thing and win a suit, or lose a suit.

ati is still kickin vortech's ass

this post in a sense is about the simple fact this is not the place to bash each other. it looks extremely bad. on you, and on the people who run this site.

why bicker about things between each other?

Initially Mr Huml’s posts really annoyed me. He seemed to answer questions that nobody asked. But he genuinely seems to want help people out more than he wants to make a quick buck. The advice he gives is sound and I’m sure he actually listens before he recommends a turbo to a customer. I would also say the EXACT same thing about AGP. I’m sure they would rather not sell turbos than have to lie to get people to buy their product. They are both classy guys on here.

The problem is that a few irresponsible vendors could really ruin it for everyone trying to market their product for the DSM masses. If we leave the rules really open we will have every guy selling stuff out of their garage coming out of the wood work to offer us the next big thing.
