i think its a decent price, i paid 100 more for mine and only got the gvr4 motor and tranny/xfer case

can you give me an exact link on the web site at the roadraceengineering.....thanks ....

and i thought that the evo III engine had a 16G and bigger injectors

they do have a 16g and 510 injectors.... although if I remember correctly the cyclone motors were ONLY used in the Galant VR4's in japan.

Looking through the add on ebay... I wonder how they do a compression test on the motor..... I doubt they take the time to run the tests honestly.

and $300 to ship is bullshit

The price is not bad for a EVOIII motor. Most people want above 3k for one. That will fit in a 95-99. Selling the tranny for a grand wont be a problem. Good luck...

The J-spec engines were only produced for the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars. Eclipses are all built in the USA (United States of America) and were not exported to Japan. There are JDM 4G63 Cyclone turbo engines, but no J-spec eclipse engines, unless you drop one in.

Also, that discription at the top of the EBAY page said JDM MITSUBISHI 4G63T TURBO CYCLONE ENGINE/5SP. That is not a "Cyclone" engine as it has a standard intake manifold instead of the dual port intake manifold.

the evoIII had 270hp and they claim 220hp on that motor. my guess is that motor is the regular 4g63t out of a galant. and if you look closer you will notice the 3 engine mounts on the tranny which would make it a 95 or newer engine.
