Both of them will work well. Just depends on what hose you want. The push lock hose is abit easier to install but not by much. I personally made my own kit so I could choose the exact fittings/hose I wanted to use. That reg that extreme is selling is abit overkill as its the -10 model, the -6 should be plenty big enough. www.slowboyracing.com also has a nice kit if you want to check them out.

Incase you didn't know - If you get a 190 fuel pump instead of a 255, you don't to get a AFPR.

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator is nice to have though so you know your new regulator can handle the increased volume of fuel, pressure can be set at a constant, and it allows you to increase your fuel pressure to richen things up a bit if needed. Once I get back from Iraq, I'll be adjusting mine up a bit to help out my 550cc injectors handle more boost and the low Cali 91 octane, otherwise bigger injectors may be necessary to handle the 20-21psi I'd like to push dailey :) .

well my 190 has over ran my fuel pressure regulator and I'm now running 50 psi of fuel pressure. i am now desperate for a fuel pressure regulator and have no money to buy one because of x-mas. damn, i hate the holidays!

Is your B&M Fuel pressure regulator turned all the way down? You can only increase pressure above from stock with the B&M, so turn it all the way down. It would be cheaper to just take the B&M out and put a stock FPR back on since 1Gs are supposed to run at 37 base fuel pressure anyways.

I would go with the IE-FPR kit from Import Evolution. Aeromotive AFPR and all the install bits (including a fuel rail adapter that doesn't leak), for about $200. Have one on my car at the moment, and it works perfect.

I have the Full Throttle Speed bolt-on FPR. I liked it because it uses all the stock lines, and bolts directly onto the fuel rail in place of the stocker. This made for a very simple install. and it is already tapped for a gauge. So I just bought a gauge at a local performance shop and threaded it into the FTS FPR. Very simple install, and no AN lines/fittings and custom mounting on the firewall. The AN seems to be overkill to me, because I haven't replaced the stock feed and return lines between the tank and fuel rail, so I didn't see how 2 feet of larger SS line under the hood would have any performance gain at least for my situation.

I have read of a few complaints on here regarding this FPR, but it has been working great for me.
