difference in wastegates normal?

hey i was just wondering something right before i was about to do my 14b swap on my 2g i took out my t25 and did a pressure test on the wastegate and it seems the the wastegate on my T25 opens alot farther than on my 14b..is this normal?

If 14b's are the same as 16g's, then yes thats ok. My evoIII only opens about half way to a 90 deg position.
