my car has the basic mods but i bought it with a 255hp fuel pump. I don't have plans of ever upgrading to a larger turbo etc. Just want to be happy with my 14B :thumb:

My question is:
Do i keep the 255hp and get an aeromotive fpr and B&M gauge or should i just get a 190lph and be happy.

I'm leaning towards the 190lph pump because i don't want any tuning headaches with the fpr. Also, i heard that you need upgrade the fuel return line with the 255. My goal is 270'ish awhp and high 12's.

If you already have the 255 lph pump then just get an AFPR. I have the same setup, 255 pump and SX AFPR and I have no tuning problems. Even with a 190 lph pump you could still end up needing an AFPR.

Definitely would go with an fpr an keep your pump. Just set the new fpr to stock fuel pressure and be done with it. If you go aeromotive look at Import Evolution's IE-FPR kit or for an even quicker installation go with the FTS bolt on fpr , look in the parts catalog.

..sounds like me 10years and $3K ago ;)

The nice thing about an AFPR is that you can also extend the HP range of your injectors by bumping up the base FPR a bit so will have that flexibility.

Then again, the 190LPH (which I had for years) will flow enough for 400HP and NOT affect your tuning. My fuel trims were near-perfect :dsm:
