Agp L1/r

Anyone have or had the AGP L1 or L1R on their car? If so share any info you can, when did you get full boost, what times have you run with it, etc?

I asked this question on DSMtalk a while ago and actually PM'd with an AGP person here too. Anyhow, the L1 <plain> is no longer in production and I have heard the L1R is soon to be out. The L1 was supposed to be around the 20G in power but less spool up time. Hope this helps.

someone said in a thread somewhere that they were getting about 22psi on a smic at about 3krpm w/ 9.0:1 compression piston and an L1R

DSMtuners wiseman Tevenor has an L1R-- maybe he's the one you read about. I think he's like one of the "beta testers" or something...

Why is the L1 already out of production?

I'd be surprised if it really was out of production. It's still listed on the AGP web site. Call them and ask.

I've been using the AGP L1 since the end of March put on over 4000 miles with no problems I ran 17psi of boost here in Phoenix in the summer. Since it has cooled down I have ran 20-21psi on pump gas with a stock fuel system.
The turbo has full spool by 3700rpms and does not drop off up to 8000rpms. At 4k and above it performs great!
I haven't taken it to the track yet but plan on that by spring. The car is fast and I have beaten several Vettes and Mustangs in my hood.
