intake heat shielding

Anyone know of the best place to get a filter to match the adaptor plate for a 2g mas, and also a heat shield that will fit 360deg around the air filter, or a heat shield box type?

I'm trying to drop my intake temps from 140deg to as low as possible. Unlike my GST w/ the intake where my smic use to be, I cant do that on my awd due to the hard intake pipe it has, which makes it too long to fit it right. So I'm thinking of using the heat shielding and some type of insulator to drag air from the smic area to the air intake.

Too bad someone doesnt market those things. But those walk-thrus were exactly what I had in mind.

Here is a picture of the one I made.

All you need to do is get some cardboard and bend it up and make a template, then go to home depot and get some sheet metal(mine was found in the duct isle) and trace the template onto the metal and cut it out with some shears or scissors. Then just use some weatherstripping to seal it to the hood.
