is this possible( i know it is, but how smart its not ) . I have money for AGP turbo 60-1 but not for internals. This is not my daily driven car its just for weekend and sometimes i like take it to the track. My questios is how well or maybe not at all stock 7 bolt will handle this big turbo.... What would you guys do if you would be me ....

I run a 60-1 on my daily driven Auto GST. Run about 15psi daily and turn it up to around 20psi for high boost. My engine to the best of my knowledge is in perfect shape. But my Auto tranny isnt liking the 60-1 though. I have been through 2 tranmissions and have had 2 rebuilds on each. My car has been down since last month because my transmission went out again and it just had a rebuild 2 months prior. Go me.

all that wasted money for auto trannys why wouldnt you change to a manual after all that?? then you shouldnt have that many probs i would hope i mean for what you have spent you could have had a shepard tranny or a tre?

As long as your engine is in good shape and you have it tuned properly, the 60-1 will be fine.

Just out of curiosity, how much boost do you plan on running? I saw a previous poster state that he only runs 15-20 psi and if you plan the same, I urge you to choose a different turbo. You dont even get into a 60-1 efficiency range till around 24 psi. That being said, you can make more power on say a 50 trim at lower boost levels. I see too many people get big turbos and dont run them in the boost range they were designed for and then seem to be dissapointed because they dont make the power they expect. I wouldnt want another person to make the same mistake.

i would go for about 24-25psi, that is my evo16g setup now

ok , but i do having proglems wit seting my AVCR....i never could set constant boost...in fifth gear sometimes jumps to 30psi...while on 2nd geat is ok .....anyone had same problem

I just pilled of my SCM61 to install a PT67. This is on a stock 7 bolt 2.0. (motor is not finished yet). I ran up tp 30 psi with the scm61. Dynoed at 26ish psi and got 400/368 with basic mods and cams. You will be fine. Just make sure you have all the fuel stuff!

i do have pretty much everything for fuel control.... dsmlink ... im not sure about 650cc injectors are they gonna be big enough
