Will a 3000GT K&N filter fit only 2g Eclipses, or 1g also?

I remember reading somewhere that an Eclipse K&N filter will fit on a 3000GT, but is that the 1g or 2g? I got a filter from my mom's wrecked 3000GT and I wanna know if it'll work on my 1g GSX or not.

i believe its a direct fit on the 2g with adaptor plate of course but im sure it can be modded to fit the 1g

It fits on the exact same MAS air sensor that we have in our 2gs. So, yes, itll directly fit on a 2g... Well, the KNN FIPK will atleast.

if you can get a KN filter + 2g MAF.. it's a worthwhile upgrade for 1g's
