Wanted to ask everybody what would be the best way to go to get more power. If I could only get one, which would be the best:

Ported head on stock block
Stroker on stock head

Obviously, the head would be easier to do and cheaper, but is it the best way?

Also, looking at Slowboy's heads, what level should I go with my 50 trim?

Thanks

Erik

Just go with porting the head and putting some good cams in there. Stroking isn't all it's cracked up to be. Just get a good portjob and get the block hottanked and cleaned up, some good HKS cams, new springs and 3g lifters if your feeling wild and slap it all back on with a good headgasket. I would think you would gain more from porting the head, getting cams, and maybe even porting the intake manifold and exhaust manifold while you are at it than going through the hassle of stroking.
