 I hace heard alot about hand porting out my exhaust manifold. I use hand die grinders at my work all the time and can get the carbide and polishing bits needed there also. Has anyone done this who can offer me some advice or tips on the process? I also wondered what gains I can expect to see from this mod. I have heard that it will make my turbo spool faster. any info?:thumb:

Ok i just did this last week with the install of my Agp T28 yes just use your vice grips to get the gasket where you need it and clamp it. Use some power lub or wd-40 to keep you bit cool with a spray here and there..... also spray where your cuting <it helps> Takeing the step out isnt to fun it takes time but dont give up and say screw it and put it on get it all out of there. As for the hp gains not sure about the numbers but you know every little bit helps out on our cars good luck.

Throw the 7cm gasket on and just outline it with a marker, easier than having the gasket and vice grips in your way. Some people also knife edge the divider

yep that's what I did. I used chalk though because the marker disappears when it gets hot. I also knife edged the divider.
