Princeton,
I heard that 95's don't have the problem with the second o2 sensor is this true, I also head the 95's can vent to atmoshere better too (not that I would :) )

not for my 95...disconnect the o2 and instantly get a cel...mine was built in sep. 94

what's the big deal about having a CEL due to an 02 sensor? i never noticed any change in performance when i went to a DP w/o the cat. that right there set off the CEL.

Connect the sensor back to the harness and tie it somewhere under the car. Plug the bug with a matching bolt. That will take care of the CEL.

ummm that didn't work either....I also tried the resistor wire mod w/ no luck...I just have to live with the bright yellow light.

You could get the Emulator and fool the computer makeing it seem all is ok i think there like 30 bucks proven to work

Could always pull your instrument cluster out (6 screws) and take out the CEL bulb, since its really not telling you anything is wrong anyway since it is always on.

I got one, but it doesn't take care of the heating element so I wired up 12 ohms of resistance (resistors rated at 10 watts) and got rid of the CEL....untill the carpet melted. Now I don't know what to do about it.

Ok, but will that CEL cause your car to run rich? Usually when CEL's pop up the car goes into "safe mode" and you begin to run rich. This also lowers your gas mileage.

Just curious as I have a nice test pipe waiting to go on my 99 gst.
