REMOVING FUEL PRESSURE...with a dead car

not to long ago i installed my entire setup that is listed in my profile. recently i bought another car and i need to transfer the parts. in order to do so i need to remove the fuel pressure, however, i cannot just disconnect wires from the fuel pump and start the car, because it is impossible to start the car. i must remove the pressure because i can't have gas going everywhere. ne suggestions, ideas????

If its been sitting for a while ther might not be much pressure left in it. I would just open it up and have some rags waiting.

Does the car still crank? If so, remove the mpi fuse and crank the car for 15 secs.

All i did was take a a jumper wire with some alligator clips, and go from the battery one fuel injector, and it will purge the fuel into the cylinder.

I would just recommend slowly releasing the line at the fuel rail. Just have a rag there to grab it. At the worst you u let it evaporate.

so ur saying the line to the left of the fuel rail? the hard line correct? ne idea how much gas is going to come out. i just dont want it to go all over my garage!

open up ur gas cap and push in the flapper. there is still going to be a little fuel come out just because there is still fuel in your lines. but nothing to worry about.
