Do you guys recommend turbos with cut exhaust housing? Are any modifications needed to be made on the o2housing gasket or o2housing to run a cut exhaust housing turbo? THanks guys. :dsm:

A cut exhaust housing is used on internally gated turbos with O2 housings that reroute the exhaust gasses back into the downpipe. The cut housing is supposed to eliminate boost creep.

yea i have an internally gated turbo... My question is do I have to cut my o2 gasket and o2 housing?

Are you asking if an internally gated 50 trim turbo should be ported? and if you do, do you need to port the o2 housing??? If you are, and if you are having trouble with boost creep, then yes and yes.

My bad I must not be putting my question clearly... I mean since the turbo has a cut exhaust housing do I have to cut the center section of the gasket and o2housing?

My 50 trim has the center cut and I didn't touch the gasket or the o2 housing and it works fine, no creep at all.
