Fuel Leak!!!!!!! HELP

hey guys, im having a really bad day..... i just bought swarm's 1995 TSi Awd... and it decided to break the 2nd day i have it...gawd... anyway this is what went wrong.

My mom and i got in my car this morning, drove to the bank, no problems, when we started it up from there, it stalled, started it again, stalled again, thinkin hmm odd, and from there everytime you slowed down either by puttin it in netral or just pushing the clutch down w/ the brake, it stalled .... still thinkin hmmm odd decided to let it idle, it starts idle surging from almost 200-1500 rpms... and then stalls again....we both dont know what to think, so we leave the car parked and go into the store, when we come out its leakin fuel, and there is a massive puddle of fuel under the car......by now im hella pissed and dont know what to do...so we call for backup and have our neighbor come pick us up, as of right now, i just got back from our neighbor dropping us off, and im trying to figure out what the hell to do...any help would be massivly appreciated...

more pertinant info...

190 non-rewired

it is leaking from the top of the charcoal canister... the fitting that vents to the atmosphere is where it comes from... i don't know why. the car had a 255hp in it, but we changed that for the 190, due to no AFPR. what could cause this?

hey! if the gas tank vent is not working properly, and pressure is building up...could it force the fuel out of that canister? when the gas cap is removed, you can hear air escape.. "pssshhh"... just a thought.

I can hear presure build up in mine, i can i smell gas once in a while but can never find the leak. dont smell it when i open the hood either.
