i have my walbro 255 fuel pump and i know now that i need an adjustable fpr since mine is being over-ran... so ive heard good things about this fpr and it doesnt sound so expensive.. but what does sound expensive is all the other parts needed for instillation. now im new to fuel systems so i dont kno anything about them... what im asking is what i need to totally install an Aeromotive AFPR from start to finish... ive seen alot of diffrent ways theyve been installed... im looking for moderate priced install that wont hurt my wallet to much... can anyone help me with a parts list???? :talon:

If you want to save money on buying stainless lines and fittings and such, you can just get an SX AFPR that mounts to the end of your fuel rail. I have this and it works fine and allows alot of adjustability with the 255 pump. I have heard that it can be on the restrictive side when it's mounter on the fuel rail as opposed to the firewall with a line running from the rail to the AFPR, but I've never had any problems on my setup.
Buschur, for one, sells these.

Most vendors sell the kit that you need to install an aeromotive fpr for $95 to $100. Slowboy Racing is an example.

What you are doing is removing the stock fpr that is mounted on the end of the fuel rail on the outlet side. So to do this the kit will contain a fitting to mount to the fuel rail, then an -6 AN 90 deg fitting, a length of hose, another -6 AN 90 deg fitting to install into the fpr inlet, then a straight -6AN fitting for the fpr outlet which will then get connected to the factory return line. Here is one link to SBR

I just ended up doing all the fuel lines since the hose really isn't that expensive. It's the fittings that can cost some $.

I just upgraded mine from a FT AFPR to the Aeromotive and it only cost me 219 total for all the fittings and AFPR. I got the kit that is on sale right now from Injector Clinic.

I'm using the Import Evolution kit. Cost $200, and works well. No leaks, yadda yadda. And a free DVD, for laughs.

Yeah, the IE-AFPR kit is great. at 200 bucks it's a good deal and they give you enough fittings to mount it in any way you would really want to. I just installed mine today and no problems what so ever, great kit :thumb:

I got SBR outlet fitting and I tried using 90* Russell fitting but the f'n thing doesn't clear the timing belt cover. Any one ran into this problem and found a solution that doesn't require cutting anything off from the cover?

Are there any hose ends with tighter radius for the bend?
