Yes I've done a search, and suprisingly found nothing on this. Below is a link to a couple of tiny little parts available from DT that seem interesting to me. As the vaccuum pump thread never really gave a solid answer about an electric pump that could pull 12in hg, I'm looking for anything to create some kind of negative pressure or vaccuum in the bottom end. Has anybody had any experience with this item. believe it? think it's BS? Input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Jeff

Any "pressure" getting in through the PCV valve will bleed almost directly out the vent on the right side of the valve cover. You're trying to fix a problem that isn't there.

Alright, thanks for the input. If anybody else has any other facts or opinions worth sharing, please do so. thanks again.

dejon tool makes a lot of really good, quality, useful, reasonably priced items... unfortunately this is not one of them.

i think ill pick one of these up for my car after im done the enzo conversion.

Why not just use a catch can? They can be had dirt cheap from ebay, just need to do your own silicone sealant job. There's a reason why that line from the side of the valve cover goes into the turbo intake, it vents the crank case, use a catch can to keep the oil out of your turbo and your intercooler happy :D

Wrong end. The Dejon part is a check valve for the PCV side.... which is what a PCV valve is.

I dont even run a PCV valve in my car, i screwed in an adapter with a male hose fitting on the other side and ran a hose from the spot where the pcv used to be, str8 to the ground,

There is a brand name product to create a vacuum in the crankcase. KrankVent I believe. I will look for a link.

"This is the kit the “Fast & Furious” cars rely on! With up to 30# boost, multi stage NOS, 700+ HP running 150+ in 9.5 sec. range, we have only had one (1!) return when 2nd stage NOS valve stuck open & blew engine, hood, & fenders off! We figure the small KV saw an explosive +2K psi!! And from 4 cyls. w/ 4 slicks smoking – WOW! Gotta Love It!!! "

Yeah, who could pass that one up.

One thing is for sure, this might have been a good band aid for the problem I was having. My blow-by due to bad piston rings was so bad that the PCV system and the vent in the valve cover weren't enough to relieve crankcase pressure. This pressure was causing every oil seal in the engine to blow out and leak. Had I known this device existed at the time, I might have got one instead of buying a new engine at a not-so ideal time.

This piece is just doing what the pcv valve already does. The only way to get more out is if you suck it out and thats hard to do. cryo... something i forget makes a kit that circulates c02 threw the hose coming off the pcv valve making like a venturi of sorts. sucking out all of the pressure but using c02 out of the bottle which would not be cost effective to use all the time obviously it would be more for like a race situation. sorry kinda went on there. imo don't buy looks like a ripoff :dsm:
