T25 to 14B turbo conversion

Does any one know if the 1g turbo is a direct bolt on to a 2g GSX?

no it is not, you have to get the kit. Unless you rotate the compressor housing and weld a 90° elbow on it.

Nope, the 14B does not directly bolt up. You will need an adaptor kit which basically consists of nuts, washers, gasket, and new coolant line. You can purchase these from just about any DSM speciality shop.

If you think you can make the hacker kit work do it, you'll save some $$$$!

The 14B does seem to be a decent investment on a 2G car. IT will hold boost to red line. That is MUCH better than the T-2small

You will need a 2G install kit which includes down pipe , oil lines, washers and bolts and gaskets. You will also need to plug the oil fitting beside your oil filter where the stock oil line is removed. Your new oil line will run to your head. You will have to bend your coolant lines a little bit to make them fit with the new turbo.
