Im leaking oil and loosing coolant somewhere and i think its from the same place which is the back of the engine and it is leaking on to the exhaust so when ever i start to lose some fluid i can smell it burn... The threads that i have looked at say that it could be an oil cooler but all the cars that have the oil cooler problem are 4g63's.... can anyone help??

No you do not have an oil cooler. It could be the oil pressure switch, make sure you check your oil leaks from top to bottomlike, valve cover, headgasket, oil pressure switch, and rear main seal/or front tourqe converter seal if autWTF!!bvoiusly you have to prey for options 1 or 3,but you gotta get a good look from under.keep us posted.

I had the same problem not to long ago. Got all over the exuast and back of engine. Turned out to be a blown head gasket, which was quite a bi*** to change the first time, but runs smooth since then. Get in there and see where more accurately its coming from.

if i had a blown head gasket then wouldnt i be shooting white smoke all over the place... sorry this weekend was really busy... because i am losing coolant too but im not burning anything. i do have those same simtomes though leaking from the back of the engine and getting all over the exhaust

Not necesarrily,At the shop i used to work at,we fixed like 4 420a's (3 neons and one caravan) and they all leaked oil from the headgasket and the head was ok,the 420a came with faulty headgaskets, and this was one of their defects.

did you look at the heater core or any coolant line that run back there.
look over all the major componants. then llok in the little things like switchs.
