I'm getting the prothane inserts and I dont have the tools to get the metal ring out of the mount. I was wandering how much people have spent getting them removed at a machine shop.

if yours is broken, then take a hack saw apart, and insert the blade thru the center and then go to town to get the rubber portion out, then after that, cut the ring in hte same manner at the 12 o clock position and then the 3 oclock postion, some channel locks should get the ring out after that, thats how i did mine, but dont cut too deepl in the metal

This might be somewhat off topic, but can OEM rubber mounts be purchased with just the rubber part, and not the entire thing?
