Ok so im going to order a EVOIII 16G turbo, along w/ a walbro 255, 550 or 580cc injectors, AFPR, S-AFC, and install it into my 91 Laser FWD Turbo. My question is this.... My stock 1G mani is in very good condition, no cracks, etc, but I know of the reputation they have of cracking, so with the condition that my mani is in, will i really notice a big power diff by having this mani? If so then Ill buy one, but if not ill just port out the 1G mani and call it good. So whats your opinion on cost vs. benefit on this manifold if you dont have to replace it but want too.?


Bad idea, lets see mani that is known for cracking and then take more material off it so that it is not as thick . not going to be pretty in the end, your best bang for the buck if you plan to keep your 16g and maybe only up to a 18g would be the 2g mani
