I recently purchased an automatic hydraulic timing belt tensioner from KarKing.com.They have good service, communication and prompt shipping.
The problem is: the tensioner broke when we were trying to tighten/loosen tension to achieve .15 - .18 on the tensioner 'piston.' It broke right through the hole in the tensioner piston.
We did the timing belt per the VFAQ(s) and little reference in the Haynes manual.
Has anyone had this problem?
Do you think its just a defective part?
Do you think its an error on our part, during installation?
