I have a B&M command flow fuel pressure regulator that a friend had lying around. We threw it one my car but it is (silver) and according to the site, the silver is the correct application for Honda '88-'00 Civic/CRX, '00 S2000, Acura '90-'00 Integra, Acura '91-'00 NSX...

Could the wrong fuel pressure regulator be a factor in contributing to my fuel cuts?

Did you not install a pressure gauge when you put on the b&m fuel pressure raiser? (not a regulator). He means what is your fuel pressure reading? If you don't have a gauge get one as you will have no idea what your base fuel pressure is sitting at.

Yeah, as long as the base fuel pressure is right, and it raises 1:1 with boost, I dont see why it would be the wrong part. It sucks that you can only raise it and not lower it.

Back off your boost. The ECU "sees" a lot of air and cuts fuel for a split sec to protect the motor and let YOU know to back off. mark

OMG. Another ####ing NEWB that doesn't understand fuel cut. SEARCH!!

Hah. Actually, I have spent hours reading about fuel cut and I basically know what i have to do in order to get rid of it, what it is, and every little possible thing that may cause it. I just thought that maybe because I have the wrong application for a fuel regulator there might be a different spring I need in order for it to work correctly for my car. NO WHERE did I ever ask what fuel cut was or how I could get rid of it in this thread so....

STFU :thumb:

Anyways, I am well aware of the high boost causing the ECU to detect too much air but the real crazy thing is, as you can see in my cars profile is that it is almost completely stock and I am currently running stock boost. I am going to install a guage on my fuel filter and maybe even put the stock regulator back on and see what happens.

If you car is basically stock, leave the stock stuff on there. Experimenting with your fuel pressure when it is not needed, doen't show you did much research at all.

STFU should be reserved for people who are ignorant or insult you, not because you made a smartass comment, or do not know that fuel PRESSURE, is not the same as your car's fuel LEVEL. IF you researched, you would know that you should have bought a FP gauge BEFORE you started messing around with the fuel pressure. :thumb:

Well back in the day I was running 18lb's of boost so adjusting the fuel pressure slightly was necessary but since then, I turned it back down to the stock level after I put in my new motor.

And your right, when I (friend) installed this regulator I practically knew nothing about DSM's or cars in general. I know now that I need a gauge in order to read the pressure so I can correctly determine the problem, which is exactly why I am going to install one.

By the way Mack, Thanks for never telling me you uploaded your pictures finally

If you havnt been to our thread in a while we assembled the longblock finally and there's pictures of the build.

As for the other post, I was basically just saying save the STFUs for the real a-holes on here, allthough, there doesn't seem to be many left.......

And I can't believe you put it together in the Laundry room...... I laughed my ass off when I saw that. :thumb: PM me if you have any questions you think I could help with bro.

it's all good, im used to people owning me on these forums, as you can see in our "creating a monster" thread. haha.

this weekend i believe we are ordering another batch of part to basically complete the longblock. i meant to say we built the shortblock beforehand.

anyways, besides that fact I believe a moderator is going to come in here to close the thread pretty soon so enough about that.

thanks guys, i think i have all the info i need now :p
