Leak test????

Ok i know this question has probably been asked like millions of times and they probably have links to how to do it but i'm kinda lazy and don't want to go searching around so does anyone know how to do a leak test. My vacuum is showing 14" without the A/C on when its supposed to show more like 19" or 20" so i want to check for leaks but don't know how. Can someone help me out with some info, links maybe? Oh by the way 2G gst and the gauge works fine checked it for leaks. thanks
