My brother got a 97 eclipse gst he got a act stage 2 clutch, fidanza flywheel, JDM intake manifold, Exhaust cut after cat, Intake with K & n. tUrbo xs blow off thats it. Mine a 1990 eclipse gsx Ive got a k & n, custom short shifter by trany, straight through exhaust dumps by rear end, Modified stock BCS, and thats it. What can I do beat him in the quarter. thankx

get a boost gauge and mbc, turn up the boost a little and do a good launch.
depending on how he drives all you might need to do it get a good launch.

Agreed. If you're brave and quick with your feet, you can also disable the actuator and feather the throttle to keep it at around 16psi but I would just go with a mbc.

Like mentioned before follow the tuning guide, but a good launch and some good shifting and then it comes down to driver. right now i would have to put it on the driver, you can get him right now with what you have.

You can also unhook his actuator arm the night before the race if you want to be 100% sure.
