Alright well heres the deal, i bought a dejon tool uicp and im going through installing it but i have run into a problem. The pipe piece that connects the the sidemount seems to be hitting the bracket that the fuse box was attached to. I am confused, i have a 95 gsx and i thought the piping was supposed to lay right in with minor adjusting.

This bracket also has a thin hard pipe running through it that im not sure what it is but that is stopping me from just removing the entire bracket.

has anyone else had this problem? anyone have any ideas?

i think i figured it out. dejontool.com discretely hints that i will have to cut the clutch ccable bracket.

The Dejon UICP went right into my 96 tsi awd, not sure if they're a bit different though. I didn't even need to bend the fuse box bracket up at all.

I trimmed my clutch cable because they said it would need to be done. I found out that it really wasn't necessary, it would have fit fine without doing it. Oh well, at leased I shaved .0001 pounds off of the car. :p

i didnt cut or modify anything.. u just have to aggressively place the pipe in place.. its going to get all scratched and dinged up because of this no doubt.. but it didnt really matter to me because the fuse box covers up the pipe anyways..
