it should work that is the same stuff i got on my 98 gst but i dont remember if i had a shorty dp but mine was rre/hf cat/ ws exhaust and it works

i use the RRE 3" DP to 3" HF Cat to a greddy power extreme.. only thing modified was on the power extreme where it connects to the cat.. its a 3" catback but was meant to bolt up to stock DP so it reduces there.. its now modified to be all 3" to connect to the 3" hf cat or 3" test pipe :thumb:

I run the RRE downpipe to thier 3" HF cat to an Apexi N1 catback. If the WS is the same as the N1 (I imagine it would be) it will all directly bolt up. The RRE HF cat is designed to work with the apexi exhaust systems so it has the proper mating flange installed. With the N1 it came with a small adapter to get the 3" exhaust fit the small factory cat, so if this is the case with the WS you will not have to do any mods to the flange like the greddy system that was mentioned, just dont install the 2"(or whatever size it is) to 3" adapterand you should be set.

IT should be no problem...
The HF cats and DPs from RRE go back to the days of Apex'i Dunks (which i have) and no one has ever complained about fitment or problems bolting it all up. Apex'i is smart, they us the same flange in the same location so you can mix and match their products for easier upgrading in steps... :thumb:
BTW I bet mine fits perfect when it finally gets put on.

you will be fine.
