1G Tach Install?

Can anyone tell me how to install a tach in a 1g, or a site that can tell me..? and does anyone have any ideas for a good place to mount it?? its a 5" auto-meter sport-comp...

Good place to mount it would be in another car such as a civic that doesnt have a factory tach that works correctly. Otherwise just tap into the rpm signal wire in the ecu harness http://vfaq.com/index-main.html
CHeck for ecu pinouts for tach siganl, tap in and your set, Then just take a power and ground from where ever you want...
