stronger internals, or not?

I've been reading around here a bit looking at upgraded turbo discussions, and i would like to get rid of the stock T25 pretty soon. But i'm wondering how much the stock internals can hold. I don't really see anyone talking about it, so i'm kind of in the dark here.

Basically, when do i need to upgrade my rods/pistons? And what do i upgrade them to? Or just leave them alone?

From all that I've read 400-450.

supposedly on a 2g its around 4-450 at the wheels, on a 1g is 5-550 at the wheels.

i thought the 550 mark was 2g pistons and 1g rods?

I plan on having 500 to the wheels. Down the road though. But I'm gonna rebuild the whole engine with stronger and better internals. Even though my 1G could probably handle it. Just having that extra strength as sorta insurance or a securtity that my engine wont blow. Plus if your car has a good amount of miles i would at least replace all stock parts just to be safe. Thats my .02 cents.

thanks guys. My engine has a little over 100k on it, so it wouldn't hurt to freshen it up a bit. So 1G rods and 2G (95) pistons is the way to go? Where are some good places to get them?

I dont know about 550hp with a 1g rod 2g piston motor. the pistons arent any stronger than the 7.8 1g pistons they just got more compression. Im sure 450 is a decent goal to maintain safely on a 4G63, but anything over that you should consider some rods/pistons.
